The Care Quality Commission has launched an investigation into the use of ‘Do Not Resuscitate’ (DNR) forms, following concerns that some care homes still have blanket orders in place for residents.

BMA docs support assisted suicide – but not being involved
Of the nearly 29,000 respondents, 40 per cent said the BMA should support assisted suicide, while 33 per cent thought it should be opposed. However, only 36 per cent said that they would be willing to prescribe the drugs themselves.
