Peppa Pig episode introduces same-sex parents

Popular children’s television programme Peppa Pig has introduced a same-sex couple.

Airing since 2004, the programme is broadcast around the world and enjoyed by children as young as three-years-old.

But in the recent episode ‘Families’ the character Penny Polar Bear announced: “I live with my mummy and my other mummy. One mummy is a doctor and one mummy cooks spaghetti.”

‘Indoctrination’

Critics took to Twitter, with one saying: “There has to be a limitation because this show is for the children.. Isn’t this some kind of forcing the children to accept it?”

Another added: “the corruption and indoctrination of children continues”.

In 2020, a drag queen promoted the LGBT agenda on a CBBC programme designed to teach children who may have missed school during the coronavirus pandemic.

Shane Jenek, known as Courtney Act, claimed on TV show Celebrity Supply Teacher: “It’s OK for boys to like boys, or boys to like girls, or girls to like boys” or “both or all of the above or to not even be a boy or a girl.”
