The two most senior figures in the Church of England have invited everyone to “call on God in prayer” in response to the “terrible milestone” of 100,000 deaths attributed to Covid-19.

Govt backs churches’ right to remain open amid council pressure
The Westminster Government has confirmed that churches in England can remain open for public worship, so long as they are COVID-secure, although some councils are requesting voluntary closures.
