The Welsh Government is proposing to inspect any setting that provides instruction to children for more than 6 hours in any week. Sunday schools, church youth groups and holiday Bible clubs would be monitored for “undesirable teaching” that does not comply with “fundamental values”. Sanctions would include banning people from working with children and closing premises.
