Hillary Clinton: ‘Pro-life politicians are like terrorists’

Hillary Clinton has come under fire for comparing pro-life presidential candidates to “terrorist groups”.

In an address at a university in Ohio, Clinton, who is running as a Democrat candidate for the presidency, attacked one of her Republican opponents for saying that abortion group Planned Parenthood should be defunded.

Planned Parenthood is facing a Congressional investigation after allegations that it has broken laws, profiting from the sale of body parts from aborted babies.

Extreme

Clinton criticised several Republican candidates including Jeb Bush for saying that “Planned Parenthood shouldn’t get a penny”.

She said: “Now, extreme views about women? We expect that from some of the terrorist groups. We expect that from people who don’t want to live in the modern world.

“But it’s a little hard to take coming from Republicans who want to be the President of the United States”.

Slap in the face

Members of the pro-life community reacted with disbelief to her comments.

Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of pro-life organisation the Susan B Anthony List, said the comparison was, “a slap in the face to every American – whether Republican or Democrat, woman or man – who values the gift of life”.

President of the March for Life Education & Defense Fund, Jeanne Mancini, said Mrs Clinton’s comments were “ridiculous” and conveyed her ignorance.

Abhorrent

“Frankly, her words are particularly out of touch considering the abhorrent and nauseating practices of the abortion industry on full display in recent weeks.”

Mancini’s remarks were echoed by Congresswoman Diane Black who said the comparison between pro-lifers and terrorists was “disgusting” and that it has “no place in our political discourse”.

Black said: “Americans who oppose sending federal dollars to organizations that dismember and sell babies’ body parts for profit aren’t terrorists – they are compassionate, decent human beings.”

Exposed

The House Judiciary Committee held a hearing yesterday, where two abortion survivors, a pro-life expert and an abortion lawyer testified against Planned Parenthood.

The abortion giant’s practices have been exposed by undercover reports from The Center for Medical Progress.

They recorded Planned Parenthood workers and affiliates ‘haggling’ over the price of body parts from aborted babies and appearing to admit performing illegal late-term abortions.
