A teacher stabbed by a 14-year-old pupil has given praise to God for his survival and forgiven his attacker. Vincent Uzomah spoke outside Bradford Crown Court after the unnamed boy was sentenced to six years in custody and a further five years on licence. Uzomah said: “As a Christian, I’ve forgiven this boy who has inflicted this trauma and pain on to me and my family.” Footage from bbc.co.uk, 10 August 2015.
