Holding onto hope: Stephanus Breytenbach full interview

Stephanus Breytenbach has survived his two-week terminal pancreatic cancer prognosis by three and a half years. Though still stage 4, Stephanus has a good quality of life. Some politicians in the UK have argued that pancreatic cancer patients and those with less than two weeks left to live should be able to “rush” into assisted suicide, with people being given drugs to kill themselves just two days after a diagnosis.

Warning: ‘The Bible may completely transform your life’

Angus Saul, The Christian Institute’s Head of Communications, dismisses the idea that students need ‘trigger warnings’ when studying the Bible as “complete nonsense”. Reflecting on some biblical truths that may prove offensive to some – that Jesus Christ is God, and that he is the only way of salvation – he suggests that the only trigger warning the Bible really needs is: “This book may completely transform your life.”
