Preaching Jude today

Christian Institute Trustee Rupert Bentley Taylor invites ministers, elders and preachers to delve into the book of Jude.

It is a book largely used for its famous final two verses, rather than preached. It is probably nobody’s favourite book in the Bible. It is seen as difficult to understand, strange in content and light-weight in length and burns with a passion we do not readily enter into. Thereby Satan tries to keep us away from it. It is time to call his bluff. Jude is a wake-up call from the Holy Spirit, like a fire alarm designed not to be pleasing but to be effective to save us and our churches. We need Jude, the whole of it. We neglect it at our peril.
