15 years of the CI’s Legal Defence Fund

The Christian Institute’s Director, Colin Hart, and its Solicitor Advocate, Sam Webster, reflect on the 15-year history of the Institute’s Legal Defence Fund.

From the headline-making Ashers Baking Co and Named Person cases at the Supreme Court, to the behind-closed-doors assistance given to Christians every day.

Since 2006, the Legal Defence Fund has helped protect Christian religious freedom and restrain those who are unlawfully harassing and discriminating against Christian believers. We also use the fund to intervene in strategic court cases where precedents could be set which may affect Christian religious liberty.

If you would like to help fund the costs of legal action and the associated campaign work in cases of national importance for religious liberty, please make a donation at: christian.org.uk/LDFgive
