Christian Institute speaks out about Channel 4 marriage experiment

Simon Calvert, a spokesman for The Christian Institute, spoke to London radio station LBC about Channel 4’s proposed marriage ‘social experiment’. In the show, currently called Married at First Sight, strangers will marry after meeting for the first time on the programme. Calvert said the show trivialised marriage, and that it was a “race to the bottom in the ratings war”. This interview took place on 9 May 2014.
