MP: the dying need care not assisted suicide

David Burrowes MP led a Westminster Hall debate on palliative care on the 17 January 2012. He spoke out against assisted suicide, instead backing end-of-life care services. He commented: “Rather than legislating for an abrupt end to life, we need to find better ways to help care for the dying”.
