The Bulls case involves a B&B, owned by Christians Peter and Hazelmary Bull, which restricts double bedded rooms to married couples. They were sued successfully in 2009 by a gay couple, Martyn Hall and Steven Preddy. The appeal to the Supreme Court seeks to overturn a finding of direct discrimination on sexual orientation.
