BBC: ‘Locked-in’ sufferer speaks of passion for life

Britain’s longest survivor of locked-in syndrome has given her first television interview and told of her passion for life. Christine Waddell told the BBC’s Look North that using Facebook and getting in touch with friends has improved her life. She also said she is confident she will recover. The interview was broadcast on 17 September 2012.
