Planned Parenthood sues pro-life group for abortion videos

The pro-life group that filmed US abortion provider Planned Parenthood appearing to be involved in selling body parts from aborted babies is being sued by the abortion giant.

A series of undercover videos were released last year by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) – one showing a senior doctor discussing the price of babies’ vital organs over lunch.

Planned Parenthood – which receives hundreds of millions of US taxpayer dollars – says the pro-life group took “illegal” actions aimed at blocking women from having abortions.

Expose

However, CMP said the lawsuit was “frivolous” and would only “expose all the sordid dealings” of Planned Parenthood.

In a statement, it commented that it had “done nothing more than tell the truth about Planned Parenthood’s lawless operations”.

Diane Black, who has been a nurse for over 40 years and is a Republican Congressman, criticised the abortion giant: “They are confronted with a horrific truth they cannot defend, so they seek a victory in the courts instead. It won’t work.”

“Instead of attacking the messenger, perhaps it’s time for Planned Parenthood to take a good look in the mirror”, she added.

Money for tissue

At the end of last year, Planned Parenthood announced that it was suing five states following moves to cut some of its funding.

They are confronted with a horrific truth they cannot defend, so they seek a victory in the courts instead. It won’t work.

In one of the CMP videos, Dr Deborah Nucatola is shown discussing likely prices for the supply of organs.

Dr Nucatola says the Planned Parenthood centres want to provide tissue in a way that is “not perceived as”, “this clinic is making money off of this”.

Choose Life

A later video shows Holly O’Donnell talking about seeing a brain being taken out of a baby whose heart was still beating after an abortion.

O’Donnell previously worked at StemExpress, which has done work with Planned Parenthood in the past.

The Christian Institute has released a series of powerful videos about people who have been deeply affected by abortion, entitled Choose Life.
