“Those who honour me I will honour”, the Bible says, and hotelier Hazelmary Bull is trusting in that promise as she suffers for her faithful stand on marriage.

Mrs Bull spoke to over 700 people in Belfast last month about her experience, God’s faithfulness and The Christian Institute.

Peter and Hazelmary Bull were sued in 2008 by a same-sex couple over their B&B policy to allow only married couples to share a double bed.

In 2011 the County Court ruled against them and ordered them to pay damages of £3,600. Their subsequent appeal to the Supreme Court was unsuccessful.

The Christian Institute’s Legal Defence Fund financially supported the Bulls’ legal case.
