How is the theatre funded?
De Monfort Hall is a Council facility publicly funded by part of Leicester City Council's annual budget. For the financial year ending 31 March 2005 the net cost of running De Montfort Hall was £798,000.

    Leicester Sound radio station are a corporate sponsor of De Montford Hall. Due to the "controversy of the show" Leicester Sound have decided not to support Jerry Springer the Opera and will not be using the theatre while the show is being performed there. We welcome their decision.
