Institute Update Issue 2 - May 2002

Grant means top publishing equipment

The Christian Institute has received a grant to invest in state-of-the-art ‘Apple Macintosh’ publishing equipment. The £10,000 grant will mean the Institute’s out of date ‘PC’ hardware and software can be upgraded to match the industry-standard. Without the grant, the Institute could not have afforded the much-needed upgrade and would have soldiered on with its current set-up.

The new equipment will mean the Institute can streamline its design and lay out of publications, drastically reducing the time it takes to set up a publication for the printers. It will also mean an even more professional final product.

As the Institute’s work develops, it is likely that the number of publications will greatly increase. This upgrade of equipment is very timely and will stand the Institute in good stead for the future.
