Computers: we couldn’t work without them

The part played by information technology is crucial to the work of the Institute. The network of PCs helps to share information around the building, while also making co-ordination of data back-up and virus protection straightforward. It also helps in giving access for staff to the world wide web. The “web” is an important information tool both for gathering information and now in sending it to supporters and others. All our research and administration staff are “computer literate”.
