Gay Police Association advert

Complaints upheld on GPA ad

The Advertising Standards Authority has ruled that the advert by the Gay Police Association breached the industry rules on decency and truthfulness. The GPA also failed to substantiate the claims they made.

More complaints had been made about the GPA advert than any other ad during the past year.

Of the five main areas of complaint the ASA upheld three of them. Read the ruling by clicking here.

The Christian Institute welcomes the ruling and is concerned that serving police officers were responsible for publishing such an advert.
