£1,200,000 reached on the day new offices officially open

'Wilberforce House', The Christian Institute's new offices, were officially opened on 14 October by Baroness O'Cathain.

On the same day our building appeal reached the £1,200,000 mark! £44,516 of this total has been given by supporters in interest-free loans. As we have to pay back outstanding loans on the building, our building appeal remains open.

Plans to make sex 'legal'
at 13 in Northern Ireland

Children as young as 13 could legally have sex with each other under radical plans being proposed by the Northern Ireland Office. Teenage sex could be legalised when there is no more than a 3 year age gap. In these cases the age of consent is lowered to 13.
